I have been coming here consistently for my fried chicken fix for the last 25 years. The fried chicken here is pretty damn good. Minus 1 star for being in the hood. You will get harrassed by the street people.

... great fried chicken and stuffed eggs... might feel a little safer with a armed pinkerton guard.... the neighborhood was a bit dodgy....

I give this 5 Stars for having the BEST FRIED CHICKEN in SF!!!!!! The neighborhood is shady, full of crime, crackheads hanging in front of the store high as a kite, drunk, or just plain crazy mental! Prostitutes, pimps, drug dealers....not a safe neighborhood at all! Lots of activity goin on around here and dont be surprised if theres some drama breaking out in the store while you are ordering your fried chicken. Be ready for anything!!!! LITERALLY! BUT THE FRIED CHICKEN IS TO DIE FOR! THE BEST FRIED CHICKEN I HAV EVER EVER EVER HAD! NO JOKE!

Surprisingly, some of the best fried chicken in the whole city. And not so deep into the Tenderloin that it's scary to get to. Cheap, too, you can stuff yourself on oily, crispy chicken for under $2.
